| World's first positively charged roller means no ozone |
The ECOSYS workgroup laser printer range has the world’s first positively charged roller. The roller is charged directly so electrical charges are not lost in the air. As a result, no ozone is created and therefore there is no requirement for an ozone filter on the outward fan. A fine brush that automatically cleans the roller on every pass takes care of the longevity and high print quality of the system. The new charging roller has a lifespan of 300,000 sheets.
Workgroup Range FS-2000D, FS-3900DN, FS-4000DN, FS-6950DN
This new range of Kyocera ECOSYS mono laser printers has been created for the needs of busy workgroups and is Energy Star labelled. Each offers outstanding performance, double-sided printing as standard, remarkably low consumable costs, low noise and compact design thanks to Kyocera’s unique ECOSYS technology.

The FS-C5015 and FS-C5025 offer users highly reliable, quality colour printing whilst still providing one of the lowest monochrome print costs available.
November 1, 2006 – Kyocera has today launched its latest A4 colour network printers – the FS-C5015N and FS-C5025N. The FS-C5015N (16 ppm) and FS-C5025N (20 ppm) expand the ECOSYS colour printer portfolio in the 11-20 page-per-minute (ppm) segment, and complement the successful FS-C5030N. The new printers, with PCL6 and Postscript 3, use Kyocera’s proven ECOSYS technology with a long-life drum, developer and fuser to ensure highly reliable, quality colour printing at an attractive cost-per-page.
The FS-C5015N, FS-C5025N and FS-C5030N offer all users, from individuals right up to work groups, access to the proven benefits of colour printing, such as clarity of communication and professional appearance – a must for many businesses. Single-pass technology, prints all four colours (CYMK) onto the page simultaneously, making it equally efficient to print in either black-and-white or colour. In addition, the monochrome printing costs for the new FS-C5015N and FS-C5025N remain lower than those for many dedicated mono printers currently available. This means that users can replace their dedicated mono printers with a new Kyocera colour printer without fear of large increases in the cost of their mono printing.
Geoff Mabbott, Director of Midshire Communications Ltd, comments ‘The new FS-C5015 and FS-C5025 make excellent additions to the Kyocera colour product range. With an attractive cost-per-page (CPP), long life components and proven Kyocera ECOSYS technology, they can be integrated seamlessly into any office environment.’
